Nude from Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, The Creation of the Sun and Moon

This 8 ½” x 11” oil painting of an ignudi (male nude) is copied from Michelangelo’s “The Creation of the Sun and Moon”, the Sistine Chapel. This painting was done in conjunction with the Pasadena 2001 Chalk Festival, sponsored by the Light Bringer Project. Each participating artist was required to submit a painting for the silent auction fund raising event.
