Donna Haupt, born and raised in Southern California, began drawing at an early age. Before entering first grade, she was known for her love of drawing the human figure. During her early teen years, her mother nourished her artistic daughter by enrolling her in art classes at the Pasadena Art Museum. In high school one of her collage and ink drawings, a class assignment, was selected as part of the Los Angeles County Fair art exhibit and won an honorary mention. She continued her passion of the arts by majoring in the Fine Arts and Accounting and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Los Angeles, with honors. Now retired, her love of painting is in full bloom.
